The 2-Step Light-Box Calibration Method

Never waste a physical bank leaf again! Follow this simple, foolproof method to test your alignment:

1. Print Test Sheet: In ChequePrinter Studio, click “Test on Plain Paper” on normal A4 or Letter paper. Make sure printer scaling is set to 100% (Actual Size).
2. Light-Box Verification: Cut out along the dashed perimeter and hold the test print directly over your real bank cheque leaf against a window or light source.
3. Fine-Tune Offsets: If any field is misaligned, use Drag & Align Mode or manual mm inputs to correct the X/Y offsets.

How to configure your physical printer hardware for feeding individual cheque leaves:

• Rear Manual Feed / Envelope Slot: Adjust the plastic paper guides tightly against the width of the cheque leaf (e.g. 203mm).
• Paper Orientation: Most printers feed cheques face-up, top-edge first or right-edge first. Test with a blank scrap paper marked with an arrow.
• Global Feed Tray Offset: Use our Global Feed X & Y offsets to compensate for automatic printer top/left margins.
